Water crisis for the wild

Hi folks. It’s been a long time since I posted anything on this blog. Not much happening around. The heat is at its peak. The rivers and streams are drying...
Every year I would go to the rivers and streams to check on the water level and this year it is shocking...
Villagers depend on these rivers and streams for bathing and washing clothes. Many even wah utensils and many take water hone for cooking and drinking purposes.
One reason that I think has caused the water to vanish altogether is that the central government is searching for coal in and around the Gunj. Workers from C.M.P.D.I. Ltd.  are pumping out the water from streams into huge containers mounted on trucks which they use for drilling. This has been going on for a year now. There are many other sources available for the trucks to load water from and these are old open coal mines that are now full of water throughout the year.
Animals  and birds are suffering the most. One side the heat and on the other side no water. Nobody is concerned and nobody cares for  animals and birds.

  1. Really sad to know. Who cares! Don't know what to say.
